PLANTING TREES

Planting trees is a multifaceted solution that yields numerous benefits for the environment and local communities alike. One of the primary advantages is the role trees play in carbon sequestration. Through photosynthesis, trees absorb carbon dioxide, mitigating climate change by reducing the concentration of greenhouse gases. This contributes to a healthier atmosphere and establishes trees as vital carbon sinks. Biodiversity thrives in forested ecosystems, making tree planting essential for preserving and restoring diverse plant and animal species. By creating habitats for wildlife, these initiatives foster ecological balance and resilience. Moreover, the economic implications of tree planting are significant for local communities. Employment opportunities arise from various aspects, including planting, maintenance, and the development of eco-tourism, providing a sustainable source of income.

SUPPORTING ANIMAL SHELTERS

As animal lovers, we are committed to supporting animal shelters and hospitals, especially in the places where we hold our events, such as Sri Lanka and Portugal. The challenges faced by animal shelters are inadequate resources and, in some countries, cultural attitudes towards animals. By offering financial assistance and raising awareness, we contribute to mainly volunteer-run organisations such as We Care Sri Lanka, Dog Care Clinic in Sri Lanka, ARA in Portugal, Noah’s Arc in Croatia and many more. These shelters play a crucial role in curbing pet overpopulation through spaying and neutering programs and promoting responsible pet ownership. Additionally, they act as vital resources during natural disasters or emergencies, rescuing and caring for displaced animals. Supporting these organisations fosters a compassionate society, promoting awareness and education about proper animal care and ethical treatment.

ORGANISING HUMANITARIAN EVENTS

We have been organising humanitarian events for almost two decades to assist those facing various challenges. From contributing to financial aid for natural disasters to providing support during refugee crises and addressing the needs of children, our efforts have consistently been driven by a commitment to making a tangible difference. Over the years, we've mobilised resources and fostered community involvement to bring relief where it's needed most. Our mission is grounded in compassion, and through these events, we aim to continue our work in helping those who require support, emphasising the impact that collective action can have on the lives of individuals and communities in crisis.
